HACKSAW RIDGE, a new World War Two film from Oscar winning actor/director Mel Gibson, is set to burst onto screens next week. The film, which won rave reviews at the at the Venice Film Festival last month, tells the true story of Desmond T. Doss, a 26-year-old U.S. Army infantryman and avowed pacifist who saved the lives of 75 wounded GIs during the campaign on Okinawa.
