EVEN THOUGH LONDON’S National Army Museum is undergoing renovations until late 2016, that isn’t stopping it from hosting an autumn lecture series at the historic Army & Navy Club.
Military historian Max Hasting will kick things off at the famous “Rag” on Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. with a talk entitled The Secret War. Based on his new book of the same name, the presentation will focus on the cloak and dagger intrigue that marked the Allies’ fight to defeat Hitler. NAM bills the evening as one that will feature “a worldwide cast of characters and some extraordinary sagas of intelligence and resistance” that will provide “a new perspective on the greatest conflict in history.”
